The Screams

Shuo Zhu Mixed Media Variable Size 2023   From man-made to man-made, we end the exhibition with this work: forests, oceans, mountains, rivers, we build industry in them, causing irreversible damage to nature. Natural disasters one after another are their warnings and cries against human over-industry. But their cries are isolated from our hearing and isolated in independent spaces - I want their voices to be seen and known. At the same time, the fragments of the earth's landscape are reshaped by industrial products. They are not a pursuit of returning to pure nature, nor a compromise with today's man-made. It is a combination of "man-made" - a reflection on the attitude of exploitation and giving.
