Wooden Roller Coaster

Jianyou Lu Paulownia wood strips 50 x 50 x 140cm 2023   Compared with other structures, wooden structures have unique advantages in energy conservation and environmental protection. Wood has the lowest air pollution index and consumes less energy. By studying the special supporting structure of wooden roller coasters, the artist tried to break the repetitive single grid structure in modern architecture and connect each unique space with the derived track. The artist also abandoned the concrete material of modern architecture that "puts efficiency first" and took materials from nature again, so that people can live in a more environmentally friendly and humane building.
